Job Summary: Jeeter is seeking an exceptional Regional Marketing Manager to join our family and drive the success of our brand across the West Coast. This pivotal role will be instrumental in developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies that directly support our sales goals, increase sales-through, and boost foot traffic to both retail and wholesale locations. As a key leader within the company, you'll oversee marketing operations across multiple states, collaborate closely with the sales team, and help steer our brand to new heights.
This dynamic position requires an experienced leader who excels in team management, budget oversight, and the creation of innovative marketing strategies. You'll work to align marketing initiatives with regional sales objectives, ensuring that campaigns and promotions not only build brand awareness but also generate measurable sales results. Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development & Sales Alignment:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that directly support and drive regional sales goals, with a focus on increasing sell-through, customer acquisition, and foot traffic.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand regional needs and tailor marketing efforts to maximize conversion, foot traffic, and retail performance.
- Set measurable KPIs for each campaign, ensuring they directly contribute to sales growth and market share expansion.
Performance Monitoring & Sales Impact:
- Monitor sales metrics and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives through sell-through rates, foot traffic data, and revenue impact.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness regularly and adjust marketing tactics to ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Work alongside the sales team to forecast demand and ensure marketing efforts are aligned with the company's revenue targets and seasonal goals.
Strategic Planning & Sales Goals:
- Play a key role in developing regional business strategies with a focus on both marketing and sales alignment. Aid in setting promotional targets and implementing initiatives that drive sales growth and customer engagement.
- Help define key promotional periods and tailor strategies to ensure maximum visibility and impact during high-traffic seasons.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Manage marketing and promotional budgets exceeding $10 million annually.
- Oversee monthly sales and marketing accrual programs, in-store displays, education initiatives, pop-up events, and field team in-store days.
- Monitor and manage operational marketing costs and expenses within the Mid-West region to maximize profitability.
Team Management:
- Lead a high-performing marketing team, ensuring alignment with sales-driven goals. This includes ensuring marketing resources support the sales team in achieving specific regional sales targets.
- Mentor your team to understand the balance between brand awareness, promotional impact, and sales results.
Marketing Execution and Project Management:
- Direct the creation and execution of brand-appropriate promotions, including product launches, boutique drops, universal promotions, and wholesale promotions.
- Manage promotional marketing inventory budgets and distribution.
Market Analysis, Reporting, and Communication:
- Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive forces, and customer preferences in the West coast region. Use this information to make informed decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports to higher management on the performance of marketing initiatives in the West coast region. Effective communication with both superiors and the teams you manage is crucial.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders to develop marketing initiatives that are fully integrated with the regional sales goals and aims.
- Function as a key liaison between the marketing team and sales teams to ensure alignment of goals, tactics, and shared KPIs.
- Work with the HQ Marketing Director to align regional strategies with corporate goals and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 8+ years of team management experience.
- 8+ years of experience leading marketing programs, campaigns, and events.
- Proven experience in the mass consumer retail industry preferred.
- Experience managing an annual budget of over $10 million.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of both wholesale and retail marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a metric-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong business acumen.
- Proficiency in tools such as Asana, Microsoft Office Suite, and Excel.
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Expectations:
- Must be available to work in-office or in the field at least 2-3 days per week.
- Must be willing to travel out of state up to 30% of the time.
