Job Summary:

The Business Analyst supports operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify performance trends, workflow inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. This role plays a key part in helping cross-functional teams make informed decisions and execute process enhancements at scale. The position is embedded within a high-growth environment and contributes to both tactical reporting and strategic planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering and translating business requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Analyze business data and trends to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Build reports and visualizations to support decision-making using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and (eventually) Tableau or Power BI.
• Partner with teams across Operations, Sales, and Marketing to align on goals and identify opportunities for automation or optimization.
• Support project tracking, reporting, and process documentation for key initiatives.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to support business case development or market comparisons.
• Learn and contribute to data quality efforts, including cleansing and maintaining data integrity in various systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL or other coding and data modeling languages
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Eagerness to learn business systems, processes, and tools in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or academic experience in business analytics, consulting, or operations.
• Exposure to tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Salesforce.
• Exposure to generative AI.
• Familiarity with data storytelling or translating data into business insights.
