Job Summary:
The Brand Ambassador serves as the essential link between Jeeter, the community, retail partners, and the local sales team. This role is responsible for bringing the brand to life through in-store activations, events, and daily engagement with consumers and budtenders. The Brand Ambassador builds and strengthens relationships with retail accounts, supports sales objectives within assigned regions, and acts as a trusted product expert. Success in this role requires a confident, outgoing individual who thrives in public-facing environments and is passionate about brand storytelling, education, and excellence in execution.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of the Jeeter brand at retail locations and events across multiple assigned accounts.
- Provide in-store services including event demos, budtender trainings, and Customer Appreciation Days (CADs).
- Confidently approach and engage consumers in natural conversation with the goal of building brand awareness and loyalty.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Jeeter product line and effectively communicate product benefits, effects, and differentiators.
- Drive product sales during demos through budtender education and consumer engagement.
- Execute budtender training sessions and administer product knowledge testing as required.
- Manage all visual merchandising standards and product placement within assigned retail accounts.
- Capture high-quality photo and video content during in-store activations and events for social media use.
- Create and post social media content across multiple platforms in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collect store-level feedback, gauge traffic, and gather market intelligence to support sales and marketing strategy.
- Audit brand materials and ensure all marketing collateral is stocked, current, and accessible.
- Coordinate with and manage external vendors when required, including logistics, documentation, and deliveries.
- Process, track, and reconcile invoices; support monthly accrual reporting for the marketing team.
- Execute additional marketing initiatives and requests as directed by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of cannabis products, effects, and consumption formats.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Socially confident and adaptable; comfortable approaching strangers in retail and event environments.
- Social media savvy with experience creating engaging digital content.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales and marketing teams.
- General computer proficiency, including basic reporting and documentation tasks.
- Positive, energetic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of experience in public-facing events, brand ambassador, or customer-facing role.
- 1+ year of experience in the legal cannabis or liquor industry preferred.
- 1+ year of cannabis or liquor event experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate various events and dispensary environments.
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends, afternoons, and evenings, to accommodate event schedules.
- Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time, visiting dispensaries and attending events in the assigned location.
Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):
This position is scheduled on a part-time basis (~15 hours/week). Specific shift times and workdays are determined by operational needs and may vary by location; however, the typical schedule will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Business needs may occasionally require work during evenings, weekends, or holidays. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays may change based on staffing and operational requirements, and advance notice of schedule changes will be provided whenever feasible. On-site presence may be required for audits, team meetings, or cross-functional initiatives.
