This role is responsible for converting approved production plans into executable replenishment strategies across all markets, optimizing service levels, inventory turns, and working capital. The planner serves as the primary owner of in-stock performance on materials, replenishment cadence, and deployment decisions across distribution and market facilities.

  • Execute replenishment plans that align with approved demand and production plans.
  • Optimize deployment of materials across markets to maximize availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Coordinate and manage freight requirements for intercompany shipments to support replenishment plans and service-level objectives.

Inventory Deployment & Flow

  • Own inventory deployment and replenishment decisions across manufacturing, distribution, and market facilities.
  • Monitor inventory positions daily and weekly to proactively address shortages, overstocks, and imbalances.
  • Manage inventory aging, shelf-life risk, and obsolescence in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Market & State-Level Planning

  • Adapt replenishment strategies to account for state-specific inventory policies, regulatory requirements, and lead times.
  • Ensure efficient consolidated shipments for cost savings.
  • Partner with market operations teams to understand local constraints, execution risks, and demand patterns.
  • Support new market launches and expansions with tailored replenishment setups.

In-Stock Performance & KPIs

  • Own national service level metrics including:
    • Material Fill Rate / In-Stock %
    • Backorders and stockouts
    • Inventory turns
    • Days of supply
  • Identify root causes of service failures and drive corrective action plans.
  • Reduce expedited and LTL shipments through proactive inventory planning and deployment strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Demand and Production Planning to incorporate forecast changes and promotional impacts.
  • Partner with Manufacturing to align production release timing with replenishment needs.
  • Partner with Supply Planning to align on 3rd party requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Market Ops to align inventory positioning with business priorities.

Systems, Data & Governance

  • Own replenishment parameters and logic within ERP/MRP and planning systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of lead times, reorder points, lot sizes, and safety stock settings.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into inventory health and replenishment performance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate replenishment processes and improve decision logic.
  • Support implementation or enhancement of planning tools and workflows.
  • Establish standardized replenishment best practices as Jeeter scales nationally.
